The Printed Blog

The most interesting blog/print synergy I've seen.

From their Website: "The Printed Blog is the world's first daily newspaper comprised entirely of blogs and other user generated content. The result is a revolutionary newspaper that reads and functions like a web feed--yet can still be enjoyed on the train or spread across the kitchen table, for an uniterrupted, pleasurably tactile experience."

Is it just me, or is this a little weird?

This is really odd and kind of defeats the purpose of a blog.....the ability to engage in a community and to give your two cents. Seems like a way to potentially monetize given you would have a confirmed distribution.

The minute it's printed, it's out dated. If the New York Times is having trouble keeping afloat...

Or maybe you have the option to buy a printed version or not...I would rather just read it online since the printed version would just go to waste since it would be so outdated.
